So, we have been busy the last couple of weeks. It has been fun. The big kids and I went to pick pears for a couple of days at the church pear farm. Then we picked up Jeff and Taylor and went rafting down the Rogue River. That was fun. We had a great time. I thought it would be a great idea to have my camera with me for pictures. I had a plastic bag for it, so no big deal, right? Wrong. I got something out of the bag and set it down, open, and my camera go soaked. So, it has quite working. Go figure, I know. But we did have a great time. I'm hoping there are pictures on the card still. I just haven't had the time to check it out.
The last couple of days we went school shopping. The kids really were on there best behavior and we had a great time. While we were out I found a little can of red paint that I thought would look great as an accent color in Taylor's room. So, we brought that home, too. When we got home, Taylor and Jerod got into a bit of a tiff, and Taylor either threw or dropped the can of red paint on my living room carpet. Of course the lid came off and red paint went everywhere. If I'd had a camera I might have taken a picture, but I didn't. So instead I tried to figure out how to get paint out of carpet. I called my inlaws, my husband, and then a friend of ours that has a carpet cleaning business. Our friend with the carpet cleaning business was able to get most of the paint up, thankfully. But what a stressful way to end the afternoon.
Taylor is still alive, and everyone is excited for school to start. Including me!

38 Special
I am at work listening to 38 special (that is a music group for those of you that are too young to remember). Lisa just called to tell me her funny story about Taylor and getting pictures of him without him seeing her. Unfortunatly I don't hear very well on my cell phone so it sounded like this: "blah blah blah blah blah blah........and it was soooo funny he he he he ha ha ha. Guess you had to be there."
Actually I think I need my hearing checked. I find it really hard to hear people on phones. If they talk to loud or to fast I just don't understand it. I know how frustrating it is to tell a joke and someone doesn't hear you. So I am sure I frustrate everyone. I have to actually really think about what people are saying because it is very difficult for me to hear especially with background noise. BTW, I don't even know what song was playing when Lisa called. Just the song when I started this blogspot.

My day....
So, today started with a phone call from the boys, who were at football camp. Jerod informed us that Taylor had "chipped his tooth". So, I (of course) freaked out. We need to get down there! I rushed around getting everyone up and out the door, including Jeff. We got there and Taylor is on the side of the field watching. I'm thinking, OH CRAP! This must be bad! When I get to him, he shows me that one of his front teeth (baby tooth) is now wiggly and it hurts. (Nothing is chipped by the way.) Now I'm pissed that Jerod freaked me out. Great! So, he's fine and pouting because the other kids won't let him play quarterback. So, Jeff and I watch Taylor and Jerod, from a distance, and other kids we know playing around. I am trying to make it down there with my camera, but I forgot it under all the stress this morning. I will get pictures up, though.
When we got home, I was so sure it was Wednesday, that I rushed around getting ready for my PTO meeting. Yelling at the boys to get ready to go (Rachel went to a friends house). And went over to the school. I sat there for half an hour thinking "did I really get the time this wrong?" Keep in mind I am usually late to these things or I forget about them all together. So I'm a bit concerned. I call up one of the other PTO mom's and, shock!, it's Tuesday. The meeting is tomorrow. Now I'm sure I'm losing my mind. So, if anyone wants to go crazy! Come on down and join the club! We'll make up t-shirts.

Death Party
My friends and I went to Barnes and Noble to get our Breaking Dawn's. We had so much fun dressing up and being a bit psycho! It was great! We are all vampires, and we have enjoyed Stephenie Meyer's books. What a great evening....
I have a blog
I started this because it seems like everyone is getting one, and you know, I don't want to be left out in the dark! So, here I am....
